Afternoon. I'm just about ready to take a hammer to my router. Three inexplicable disconnects in the last hour alone. Either that or Virgin are doing something.

My Polish friend, who is 6 months pregnant, just signed off an email she'd written to me about a project we have to do, with "regards from my little kicking monkey".
AWHHHHHH.

Today I had the first test that will count towards my degree. Granted it's probably only .5% or something, but still. Argh.

Last night I said to myself, ok, I'll listen to one more song then go to bed. That song just happened to contain samples of Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, so of course I couldn't go to bed until I'd watched that all the way through, gone back and watched the funniest parts again, paused it several times for food, and finally crawled under the covers at around 6 am. Who's a clever boy then?


edit: also I am dead pleased about finding Course of Empire's entire discography for free on their site, having become hooked on that one song and not finding the album anywhere. Excuse the cheesy industrial graphics in that video, the song itself is fucking mint.

yeah, two of my last three encounters have went much the same way. one of them was a gymnast instructor though, still makes me sad to think that didn't work out.

last update: got a text today earlier saying "do you still want to meet up or shall i just take the hint?"

replied with "sorry meant to text but didn't get the chance. to be honest i've got a lot on at the moment."

she just said "sure thing."

I am watching Supernatural from the beginning again.

Mine has been proper fucked since this morning and the On-Demand telly since Monday night. However with some extended power-downs they both now seem to be working alright.

Monk series 6 DVD arrived today after a huge delay in dispatch which then segued nicely into a big delay with postal strikes. Pity the fucking dog ate the bastard thing. Well, the discs are fine but the boxes are a bit toothy, the external box is utterly fucked.

Uncharted 2 also arrived, again after postal delays. He didn't eat that so I may indulge shortly.

My week is also now over.
